THIS SESSION. THIS COUPLE. THE BEN & JERRY’S. I am in love with all the details of this San Diego couples session!! The evening started off with Ben & Jerry’s, some wine, and lots of cuddles. We shot this the Friday before their wedding day so Lauren and Ben were just on cloud nine with anticipation and excitement! About halfway through when it started to get darker they changed outfits and we got creative playing around with some fairy lights and direct flash!

A few of my best pointers for coordinating your outfits. First, wear something monochromatic with natural earth tones, and try to stay away from bright bold colors and patterns! Secondly, wear something that’s comfortable and easy to move around in!! The last thing you want is to be uncomfortable and adjusting your outfit every five seconds. I love how Lauren kept her outfit simple but accessorized with some different statement jewlery pieces!

Lairen and Ben ended their sweet session with a movie night set up from Seaside Cinema. 10/10 recommend setting up your couples session like a date, having a few different activities or shared things you enjoy, and once I leave go out to dinner and finish your evening together!!
