From recent sessions, to wedding tips, to updates on my journey, it's all here.
The Morgan's film-inspired documentary wedding is truly one of the most love and Jesus-centered weddings I've ever had the privilege of capturing. I'm so excited to share my favorite photos from this gallery with you! You can tell I had a very hard time choosing haha!
I LOVE the rain. Anytime it starts to rain I am automatically 10 times happier and more productive haha!! When I arrived at Anna & Daniel’s venue and realized it was gonna be a rainy day I was so freakin excited!! Throughout the day there were times it was pouring too hard outside and we would shoot photos indoors but when it was just drizzling we took photos outside and it was SOOO dreamy!
Last summer I decided to try out shooting film because I love the timeless and candid feel it creates. You have to be sooo intentional when shooting with film because you only have 36 exposures per roll and film adds up very quickly haha!! I took my new camera to my San Diego trip last May and my cousin-in-law Hannah’s wedding which I was a bridesmaid in!!
Summer & Chase’s day was so special because I’ve known Summer since we were little kids, it was a total full circle moment to get to reconnect and capture my childhood friend’s wedding day!! The fall colors at their venue, Texas Old Town, were STUNNING and reminded me so much of my own wedding. You don’t get a lot of fall coloring in Texas so I was SHOCKED at how vibrant all the trees were.
Dawson and I got married almost a year ago and I’m so so excited to share with you all the details and love that went into our wedding day! Dawson proposed to me on May 20th, 2021, and exactly six months of planning later (with no coordinator) we were married! The only reason such a quick engagement was possible is because of how much talent and generosity our friends and family shared with us!
Goodbye 2022, hello 2023!!! It’s become a tradition of mine to work on NYE and 2022 was no different!! I spent the last hours of 2022 associate photographing Driftwood Downtown’s exclusive NYE party and I had to share some of my favorites!! My absolute favorite part of this downtown Austin event was the balloon drop at midnight and the elaborate masquerade costumes.
A Fall Austin couples session with Brooke & Andrew! Featuring their adorable puppy, a wide open field, and a late night snack at Sonic!
Last May I had the privilege of working with Ashley & Braydon in La Jolla, San Diego! My favorite thing in the world is when couples incorporate mutual hobbies into their session. The more you personalize your session the more authentic it is to YOUR love story!
This summer I got to second shoot a wedding for the amazing Dani Quiroz at Villa Antonia and it was STUNNING. The Deluca’s wedding was PACKED with meaningful details and a KILLER dance party!!
Even though I’m based in Austin, I love shooting in the downtown Dallas area sooo much! The architecture has a more historic look and ya girl loves all things historic. What truly made these photos special was the sweet couple I got to work with! Summer & Chase are so freaking fun, they’re always cracking each other up and Summer has the most contagious laugh!
When I tell you Hannah & Paul’s love story is like a romance novel come to life I mean it. Paul has been best friends with Hannah’s younger brother since before he can even remember, who would’ve thought they’d actually end up brothers by marriage!
Figuring out what to wear to your session can be such a pain, let me give you some of my best tips for planning outfits!
